LAST DAYS - A Teaser

We know now, somewhat conclusively, the year was 33AD. Two dominant emotions filled Jerusalem in such days: eagerness for the Messiah & hatred for Rome.

Jesus had just come from Bethany where he proved even death was no match for his power when he raised Lazarus from the dead. And in a military battle against Rome, a Messiah who could outflank even death and bring dead soldiers back to life made victory inevitable.

But not in the way the people would expect,

Or accept.

The wrong kind of Messiah, the wrong kind of Kingdom.

So much confusion.
So many questions.
So little time.

Six days later, his body sags on rusted, Roman nails.
His blood runs out.
His lungs run through.

How are his followers (then and now) supposed to make sense of what has just happened?

No wonder this week was worthy of so many of their words.
